Good Day

Today was such a good day for mom.

Five nurses came to put mom in a wheelchair.  Mom took a ride around the hospital for a good 20 minutes and came back to her room.  She was so happy!  I wish I had a picture to share with you.  I'll try to take one tomorrow of her daily ride.

Mom ate well and she got all her medications and supplements.  She loved her macaroni soup!

Overall, mom was awake, alert and happy.  This has been the best day so far.

Double kisses for mom!

  2. I think that would be good. Mom is doing much better. I know having Israel here has saved my life many times. Support is very important. I'll let mom and dad know.

  6. I'm not sure where mom will be during your stay. I'll email you the link for the condo but we did a cash deal with him and got a really good discount. You may not want to sign a long-term stay until you know mom's condition better. What we did is book a hotel room for 2 nights locally and then spoke with the doctors and then booked a stay for two weeks at the condo. Talk to the doctors first before you make your plans.

  7. When you leave it will be hard for me to get answers.. is there any way you can get an exact date from the md when chemo will start? When we arrive at the airport.. I don't know where we are going? Thanks deb.
